YOUR VISIT

Your First Visit

On arrival at the clinic, one of the receptionists will ask you to fill in a form with your details and any medical history you may have. Your practitioner will then take more information regarding your complaint and will ask further medical history questions.

Directly after the case history has been taken a full examination is performed, incorporating muscle testing, reflexes, sensory checks and, of course, individually assessing your complaint.

A treatment plan will be produced for you to obtain optimum care and best results. A reassessment will be listed on your program of care, where the Practitioner will either advise you that you will be discharged as a patient, continue further treatment (if the complaint is chronic), or be referred to another practitioner for further assessment.

Your Next Visit

Consecutive visits can last between 5 and 10 minutes for chiropractic care. During this time the practitioner will assess the areas where they last treated. Depending on your presentation, the practitioner will then treat you accordingly.
